The role involves overseeing the health, welfare, and management of a variety of animal species used in research and teaching. You will play a key role in ensuring clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and the continuous development of high animal care standards.

Responsibilities
Providing medical and surgical care for a range of species within the university’s research and teaching facilities
Developing and implementing animal health programs, preventive care protocols, and biosecurity standards
Collaborating with researchers, students, and technical teams to ensure ethical and compliant animal use
Managing veterinary and support staff to maintain workflow efficiency and effective communication
