The Manager, Communications supports RDCO departments and leads outreach efforts while managing media relations.

In this position, you will provide strategic communication advice and develop marketing programs that reinforce regional priorities. You will also create content for reports and presentations, acting as the first point of contact for local media. Key Responsibilities:
Develop communications strategies for various RDCO services
Prepare speeches and key messaging for leadership




Coordinate organizational outreach and media relations programs
Ensure effective communication across digital platforms
Oversee the RDCO’s annual report and other publications Requirements:
Degree in Communications or Public Relations
Minimum 7 years of progressive communication experience
Certification in public engagement preferred
Robust writing skills and media relations experience
Valid BC Driver’s Licence Bring your leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills to enhance RDCO's community engagement efforts.
