Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain flat roofing systems on commercial properties using various roofing materials and techniques
Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, and utility knives to cut, shape, and secure roofing components
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure exact installation
Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely and efficiently throughout each project phase
Apply caulking and sealants to ensure watertight joints and seams on roofing surfaces




Conduct inspections of completed work to verify quality standards and adherence to safety protocols
Assist with general carpentry tasks related to roofing structures and support handyman responsibilities as needed

Qualifications
Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing or related trades, minimum 5 years.
Skilled in using hand tools, carpentry techniques, and blueprint reading
Experience with caulking, sealing, and waterproofing methods for flat roofs
Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
Knowledge of safety procedures relevant to roofing work environments
Handyman experience or background in general construction is highly desirable
Solid attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
