Heavy Duty Commercial Vehicle Mechanic

Agri-Trans Services Inc. is currently seeking a highly motivated Licensed or Apprentice Heavy Duty or Commercial Vehicle Mechanic to join our teams in Armstrong, B.C. and Abbotsford, B.C. The successful candidates will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, vehicle and equipment repairs in accordance with both Dealer and Manufacturer specifications as required.

Agri-Trans Services Inc. offers a full-service workshop that is Peterbilt warranty approved.

Qualifications:

Licensed Heavy Duty Commercial Vehicle Mechanic.

Inspector License of Commercial Vehicles is an asset.

Experience with Peterbilt Trucks is an asset.

Experience with Cummins Engine Systems would be an asset.

General maintenance experience is required.

Must be self-motivated and able to work closely in a team environment.

Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision.

Must have own tools.

Class 1 Driver's License would be an asset.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections, diagnostic tests, troubleshooting and general vehicle repair to a wide range of models/vehicles/equipment.





Perform preventative maintenance services and maintenance related work as required.

Conduct routine safety checks on vehicles and equipment.

Perform work in compliance with Company Health & Safety Policies, and OHSA standards.
