Key Responsibilities:
Develop landlord relationships and maintain affordable housing for individuals with mental illness.
Collaborate with community mental health services to ensure integrated service delivery.
Provide ongoing, versatile support to clients in their home settings.
Assist clients in making informed decisions regarding housing and support services.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of the BC Residential Tenancy Act and related legislation.
Post-secondary training in Mental Health Work or Human Services.
Valid First Aid Certificate and Class 5 Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
Proficiency in computer software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Clean criminal record check.
Skills:
Flexibility, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Strong conflict resolution and social modeling abilities.
Familiarity with mental illnesses and symptoms.
Knowledge of funding sources for housing options.
