Our large manufacturing client in North Vancouver, BC is hiring two members to join their data and analytics team to support data-driven decision-making across manufacturing, supply chain, and enterprise operations. This team blends strong analytics, modern data engineering, and business partnership to turn complex data into trusted, actionable insights. We’re hiring two roles within the same team — a Data Analyst and a Senior Data Engineer — who will work closely together to design scalable data models, deliver advanced Power BI reporting, and enable the business with reliable, well-governed analytics. If this sounds like you, please apply directly or send your resume to [email protected], develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, datasets, and semantic models using Power Query (M), DAX, and SQL, ranging from foundational reporting to highly complex analytical solutions.Build and optimize data models and transformations across the analytics stack, including Databricks and Delta Lakes.Analyze and interpret complex manufacturing and supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational, financial, and performance improvement.Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems (e.G., ERP/MRP, PLM, scheduling, and cloud platforms), ensuring consistent definitions, data lineage, and a unified reporting model.Validate data sources, transformations, and calculations against business rules and reference data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and trust in all reported metrics and KPIs.Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and internal team members to translate requirements into effective data solutions, provide insights,



and continuously improve analytics performance and usability.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field (Master’s degree considered an asset for senior-level candidates).Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering, ranging from early-career (junior analyst) to senior-level (7+ years) experience designing enterprise-scale BI and data solutions.Strong to expert proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query (M), and performance optimization, depending on role level.Solid to advanced SQL skills, with experience developing and tuning complex queries; senior candidatesshould bring hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, and data warehouse architectures.Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and analytical data modeling techniques (e.G., star and snowflake schemas).Solid analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and clearly explain insights to stakeholders.Pay: $35 – 65 per/hour depending on seniority and incorporation status.Must be willing to commute 5 days per week in North Vancouver, BC for the first 3 months and then hybrid is an option.Please note that the posted pay range for this role may vary based on seniority, qualifications, or prior experience.
