We are seeking a dedicated Carpenter Helper to assist a journeyman carpenter in various building and renovation projects. This role offers an excellent prospect to gain hands-on experience in the residential construction industry. Carpentry apprenticeship opportunities. Seasonal position.

Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and setup/cleanup of construction sites, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
Support carpenter with deck/fence construction, finish carpentry projects, custom framing/renovations.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
Perform heavy lifting and carry materials as needed for various construction activities.
Various landscape construction tasks mainly but not limited to digging/setting fence and deck posts.




Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency in office.
Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries.

Requirements
Prior experience or familiarity with construction or woodworking is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and other construction machinery is advantageous.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions for extended periods.
Solid attention to detail.
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and daily access to a vehicle.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
