Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and energetic Casual Cultivation Workers to join our agile team. In this role, you will assist with the daily care and maintenance of plants within our cultivation facility. Your enthusiasm for gardening and horticulture will help ensure healthy plant growth and optimal yields.

This position offers flexible hours and an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment dedicated to sustainable cultivation practices. All work performed is paid, with a focus on safety, teamwork, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities
Assist with planting, watering, pruning, and harvesting crops using appropriate hand tools and equipment
Monitor plant health and growth, identifying signs of pests or disease for prompt action
Support irrigation systems by checking for leaks, clogs, or malfunctions to ensure consistent watering schedules
Use mechanical knowledge to operate basic gardening machinery safely and efficiently
Perform heavy lifting of plants, soil bags, or equipment as needed to support daily operations
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and tools to promote a safe working workplace




Follow safety protocols and best practices related to horticulture, gardening, and equipment handling

Qualifications
Basic knowledge of horticulture, gardening, or plant care principles
Experience with irrigation systems and understanding of watering schedules
Ability to operate hand tools such as pruners, trowels, and shovels effectively
Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting minor issues with gardening equipment or systems
Strong physical stamina for standing for extended periods
Basic math skills for measuring soil amendments or adjusting irrigation timers
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills in cultivation practices
