JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support a large-scale enterprise data modernization initiative for one of Canada's leading financial institutions. This multi-year program is focused on migrating existing SAS 9.4 on-premise environments and use cases to Azure Databricks as part of the organization's broader cloud and data transformation strategy.

This individual will act as a liaison between business stakeholders, SAS users, and technical delivery teams, helping drive migration efforts, facilitate technical discussions, and support enterprise adoption of Databricks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAS environments, experience supporting modernization or migration initiatives, and working knowledge of Databricks. While this is not a hands-on engineering role, candidates should be comfortable participating in technical conversations, understanding Databricks capabilities, and partnering with development teams throughout the migration process.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.

- Strong experience working within SAS environments

- Experience supporting SAS modernization, migration, upgrade,



or transformation initiatives.

- Working experience with Databricks, including an understanding of how Databricks is leveraged within contemporary data platforms.

- Experience supporting cloud migration, analytics modernization, or data transformation programs.

- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Proven experience facilitating discussions and driving initiatives across large enterprise environments.

- Strong documentation, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management skills.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Azure Databricks experience.

- Knowledge of Unity Catalog.

- SAS Viya experience.

- Enterprise Guide experience. SAS Environment Manager experience.

Compensation:

$50-54/h
