version-controlled, and deployable across MIL, SIL, HIL, Multi-Objective Optimization, and virtual validation workflows.
A key part of this role is hands-on contribution to electrical, power electronics, motor, and control system modelling. The candidate must be able to understand and modify plant, motor, inverter, power electronics, and controls-oriented models so they can be reused across different applications and connected into a governed system model ecosystem.
Own cross-domain model integration and system-level plant models across controls, electrical, motor, thermal, fluid, mechanical, EMC, and software domains.
Develop and modify electrical, power electronics, motor, inverter, and controls-oriented models as required for system integration.
Collect, adapt, and maintain subsystem models for different applications including MIL, HIL, MOO, and virtual validation.
Ensure compatibility, consistency, connectivity, and traceability between physics-based models and control system models.
Govern model repositories, version control, parameter management, model lifecycle, and change management processes.
Act as the primary interface between CAE, Controls, Software, Electrical, and Product Engineering teams.
Support MBSE governance,
requirements traceability, model review workflows, and model release processes.
Maintain and support MBSE integration tools, workflows, and repositories, including MBSE GUI-related activities.
Support deployment of integrated models to real-time and virtual validation environments, including Speedgoat-based HIL systems.
What you will bring
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Controls, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or a closely related field. Exceptional MSc with significant industrial experience will also be considered.
Strong control systems background with practical experience in plant modelling and controller integration.
Strong MATLAB/Simulink capability and experience with system-level modelling.
Hands-on experience with electrical, power electronics, motor, inverter, and controls-related models.
Experience with MIL, SIL, and HIL workflows, including model preparation for real-time or validation environments.
Experience with MBSE methods, model governance, requirements traceability, and configuration management.
Experience with Git or similar version-control systems for model repositories and engineering artifacts.
Ability to work across CAE, Controls, Software, Electrical, and Product Engineering teams.
