We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Before & After School Program - Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our vibrant team. Duties
Supervise children during before and after school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
Support children with homework or tutoring needs, encouraging positive learning habits
Foster inclusive environments that respect diverse backgrounds and individual needs
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and daily experiences
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming program space in compliance with health and safety standards
Collaborate with team members to develop program schedules and adapt activities as needed to meet children’s interests
Requirements
Valid registration as an Early Childhood Educator (RECE) with the appropriate licensing body
Experience working with children in early childhood or school-age programs
Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and best practices
Ability to plan engaging activities that support learning through play and tutoring techniques
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members
Demonstrated ability to maintain a secure environment while fostering independence and social skills
Passion for working with children and supporting their development in a energetic setting
