Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and experienced Class 1 truck drivers for winch tractor & bed truck to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport oilfield equipment within in the BC Peace Region. This role requires a robust commitment to safety, punctuality, and effective delivery.
Candidates with prior experience with winch operations, commercial driving experience & basic mechanical knowledge will be given priority consideration. . The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on professionalism and safety standards.
Duties
Safely operate commercial trucks for local or long-distance freight transportation
Load and unload rig & various equipment as needed
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary
Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols,
and company policies during transportation
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients as required
Qualifications
Valid Class 1 Drivers License with air endorsement & clean driving record
Previous winch experience required
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and reliability
Ability to work independently and adhere to safety standards at all times

The position is located in Fort St. John BC, all applicants must already reside in Fort St. John or will not be considered for these positions. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
