We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and supporting overall bookkeeping functions. Duties
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
Record and categorize financial transactions accurately
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
Assist with payroll processing and related reporting
Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses and revenues
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Maintain organized records of all financial documents for audit purposes
Qualifications
Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is required
Solid understanding of accounting principles, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation processes
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to analyze financial data accurately and efficiently
Knowledge of account reconciliation and account analysis techniques
Familiarity with budgeting processes is a plus
Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Prior experience with bookkeeping tasks in a professional setting is preferred
