Skidsteer Operator/Asphalt Raker

We are currently looking for a Skidsteer Operator/Asphalt Raker to join our growing team!

Responsibilities
Operating the skidsteer to load the spreader and preparing asphalt mix for rolling by raking the mix as it leaves the screed.
Spreading asphalt efficiently while maintaining a valuable pace.
Operating the skidsteer (bobcat) to perform various tasks.
Assisting the screed operator with the distribution of asphalt.
Using a variety of hand and power tools as well as operating equipment when needed.




Following and promoting Forest Contractor Ltd.’s safety program on the job site.
Shoveling excess asphalt and sweeping up debris.
Signalling operators to ensure the protected and effective moving of construction and paving materials.
Performing other road construction duties as required.

Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent.
A valid G driver’s license.
Minimum 2 years as a skidsteer operator/asphalt raker required.
Construction experience preferred.
Physically fit and able to lift 70+ pounds on a regular basis.
