We currently have an opportunity for a Material Handling Operator at our Portage la Prairie, MB facility. Reporting to the Elevator Manager, this position is responsible for assisting with shipping and receiving of deliveries in accordance with standard documented procedures and checking for damaged products.Responsibilities:Assist with binning, cleaning, drying, blending,



and storing of product within the facilityPrepare railway cars and/or trucks, including weighing and identifying product for shipmentOperating systems to transfer and load product into railcars and/or trucks, including cleaning and sealing trucks and/or rail carsAssist with sampling and testingPerform routine maintenance on material handling systems and completing all related documents as requiredQualifications:Grade 12 education or equivalentMust be self-directed, able to work independently and have excellent interpersonal skillsMust be able to work a rotating shift, including overtime on weekendsExperience operating a forklift is considered an assetRichardson International provides an excellent compensation package consisting of competitive salary, pension, a adaptable benefits plan and training and career development opportunities.Interested candidates should apply online by August 11, 2026.Richardson International values diversity in the workplace.
