Capital Yardworks is seeking a dependable and professional A, AR, or AZ Licensed Driver to join our growing team. Please note that a DZ license does not meet the requirements for this position. This role plays a key part in supporting our crews by safely and efficiently transporting materials, equipment, and supplies to job sites throughout the Ottawa area.

Responsibilities
Operate trucks and trailers to transport landscape materials, playground equipment, tools, and machinery to various job sites across Ottawa
Complete daily pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate driving logs
Load and unload materials and equipment using machinery such as skid steers, tractors, or forklifts when required
Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies




Communicate effectively with site supervisors and crews to ensure deliveries are completed on time

Requirements
Valid A, AR, or AZ Driver’s License
Clean driving record and a current 3-year driver’s abstract
Experience operating trucks with trailers, including equipment, dump, or flatbed trailers
Ability to safely load, unload, and secure materials and equipment
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced workplace and meet tight deadlines
Familiarity with Ottawa roads and construction site operations is considered an asset
