Our client is seeking an Accountant to join their team; in the Acheson, Stony Plain, Spruce Grove region. This role is responsible for supporting full-cycle accounting and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of monthly financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring robust technical accounting skills, experience in financial statement preparation, and a proactive approach to process improvement within a agile and evolving workplace.

Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To
Record transactions and prepare financial records to ensure compliance and accuracy
Analyze financial statements and reports, to identify trends and discrepancies
Assist with preparing Year-End Reports
Provide support to the team with ad hoc tasks

Your Strengths Include




Diploma or degree in Accounting; pursuing or has CPA designation
Intermediate Excel skills: data mining, complex formulas, pivot tables, and automation
Experience with ERP systems is an asset
Proven experience as an Accountant, with minimum 2 years of experience required
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
