Join the team at Cottage Bakery. We are currently hiring a part-time or full-time Baker’s Assistant. We’re looking for someone:
With professional baking experience
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting ingredients or equipment
Solid understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
Is available early mornings/ has a car and can drive to work.
Prioritizes cleanliness and organization
Has positive time management skills
·Who has positive communication skills and can work well in a team or independently
Has a positive attitude in the workplace
Who has a passion for baking and a desire to learn and grow in the role

Responsibilities for this role include:
Baking with industrial ovens and proofers




Helping prepare bread dough, puff pastries, croissants, cinnamon buns and more
Preparing orders and deliveries for our other locations
Maintaining clean workstations, equipment, and storage areas
Follow recipes accurately and assist in maintaining inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations and hygiene standards

Job Overview Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
