Contribute to groundbreaking astronomy software as an Astronomical Software Developer based in Edmonton. This hybrid role involves developing infrastructure for the Canadian Data-Intensive Astrophysics Platform (CanDIAPL). Join an international team at the forefront of astrophysics research, co-developing software hosted on CanDIAPL servers.

Your work will include creating portals for remote users and developing pipelines for data transfer from the MeerKAT telescope. Play a key role in managing software repositories that help retrieve images and detect astronomical sources. Key Responsibilities:
Develop software infrastructure for CanDIAPL servers
Create a portal for viewing astrophysical data remotely
Maintain software for automated data transfer from MeerKAT
Retrieve images from various astronomical resources
Transfer data efficiently to CanDIAPL servers Requirements:
Experience in software development and data management
Familiarity with astronomy or astrophysical data
