Grey Bruce Contracting is hiring a motivated 2nd-year or higher 403A Apprentice Carpenter to join our residential renovation and construction team in Owen Sound and Grey-Bruce.

You’ll gain hands-on experience alongside experienced carpenters while building skills in framing, renovations, finish work, and general construction. We’re looking for someone reliable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in the trade.

Responsibilities
Assist with framing, decks, flooring, trim, doors, windows, and finish carpentry
Support renovation work, demolition, drywall backing, blocking, and site preparation
Use hand and power tools safely
Take measurements, follow plans, and keep jobsites clean and organized
Work professionally with the crew, trades, and homeowners

Qualifications




Registered 403A Apprentice Carpenter, 2nd year or higher
Valid Ontario driver’s licence and reliable transportation
Basic hand tools preferred
Able to safely lift and carry construction materials
Reliable, punctual, safety-minded, and willing to learn
WHMIS and Working at Heights certification are assets
