Aramark Offers 14 Days On / 14 Days Off Rotation Schedule

After 40 hours worked, the next 30 to 40 hours are paid for a time-and-a-half.

Aramark provides a transportation allowance, and access to the site is by air travel from Wabush Airport. Air transportation is fully covered by Aramark.

Position: Kitchen General Utility Worker

Hourly Wage: $21.65/hour
Transportation premium
Night shift premium
Split shift premium

Job Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation
Wash, transport, and store dishes and kitchen equipment
Clean the kitchen and camp facilities
Unloaded food and kitchen-related supplies arriving by train
Assist with housekeeping duties throughout the camp
Respond to emergencies when required
Ensure that food hygiene and sanitation programs are followed
Support operational needs as required




Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
Must be versatile and adaptable
Previous experience in a remote camp workplace is an asset
MAPAQ Food Hygiene and Sanitation Certification is an asset
Ability to support operational requirements
Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation programs
Follow all established health and safety regulations

Background Check Requirement

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a criminal background check and, where applicable, a Vulnerable Sector Check. Employment with Aramark is conditional upon obtaining results deemed satisfactory by Aramark.
