Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of casual Clerk at our Food Store location in Smeaton, Saskatchewan.

What You Will Do:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members' lives, with a robust customer-focused approach.
Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Serve guests, pack groceries, stock products, face shelves, and dispense fuel and propane.
Maintain a clean department; clean shelves, bins, displays, breakages, and spills, and keep aisles free of debris.
Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedure, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items relating to wine, spirits, beer, tobacco,



and lottery.
Operate point of sale system to process sales.
Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow first in, first out (FIFO).

Who You Are:
Willing and able to obtain WHMIS and propane dispensing certifications.
Attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills.
Able to fulfill physical job requirements, working both inside and outside, standing, kneeling, crouching, and performing heavy lifting regularly.
Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing workplace.
Possess a versatile work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
