Extendicare is seeking a dedicated Recreation Aide to join its compassionate team. In this full time position, you will work closely with the Recreation Manager to plan and implement engaging activities for residents. Key responsibilities include maintaining department records, facilitating resident outings, and promoting effective communication across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and organizing recreational programs
• Maintain department records and evaluations of programs
• Communicate effectively with residents and families




• Facilitate residents' scheduled and pre-arranged outings
• Assist with meal services and daily activities

Requirements:
• College diploma in Recreation, Gerontology, or equivalent
• Experience working with seniors desirable
• Excellent communication skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Energetic and compassionate attitude towards seniors
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain
