Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Aide (RCA) to join a supportive care team serving the Bella Bella community through.
In this role, you will provide essential personal care and daily living support to residents in a long-term care or assisted living setting. You will work closely with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure residents receive safe, respectful, and person-centered care.

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Support residents with feeding and hydration needs
Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment




Build positive relationships with residents and families
Follow care plans and infection control protocols
Assist with transfers and positioning using proper techniques
Document care activities as required
Promote dignity, independence, and emotional well-being

Graduation from a recognized Health Care Assistant / RCA program
Registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
Current CPR/BLS certification
Previous long-term care or assisted living experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
Physical ability to perform caregiving duties
