Become a Community Connections Facilitator with LUSO, supporting the integration of newcomers of all ages into Canadian society. Facilitate programs, workshops, and activities that empower newcomers every week.

This part time, 28-hour per week role starts in late August, focusing on creating group programs for children, youth, adults, and families. You'll enable newcomers to access community resources, build networks, and navigate their settlement journey effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create tailored group programs for diverse newcomer populations
• Facilitate activities connecting newcomers to skills development
• Lead community events promoting integration and engagement
• Conduct language learning activities outside formal settings




• Collaborate with service providers to enhance resource access

Requirements:
• Degree/diploma in Social Service Work or related field
• 2-3 years experience with diverse newcomer groups
• Knowledge of Canadian settlement services and community resources
• Proven program planning and facilitation skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
