Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private clients, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
Introduction : Robertson is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.
Contract Period : 12months with potential to extend and convert
Pay Rate : Starting from $88 per hour
Location : Toronto, ON
Location Type : Hybrid
Business Hours : Monday-Friday, Core business hour
Job Responsibilities :
Design, build, deploy, and support enterprise Azure cloud infrastructure environments in both Windows and Linux
Build production-grade Azure environments from the ground up across Development, QA, Production, and Disaster Recovery platforms
Deploy, configure, secure, and support Azure Databricks workspaces and supporting platform services
Administer Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Storage, Networking, Monitoring, Backup, and Disaster Recovery solutions
Design and implement highly available, scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures
Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, platform, networking, security, and performance issues
Implement cloud security controls, governance standards, and operational best practices
Support cloud migration, modernization, and platform transformation initiatives
Develop and maintain operational standards, procedures, documentation, and technical runbooks
Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Bicep, or similar technologies
Build automated deployment and configuration frameworks for Azure infrastructure and Databricks platforms
Create reusable deployment templates and automated build processes
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting infrastructure deployments, platform upgrades, and configuration management
Automate provisioning, patching, monitoring, compliance validation, disaster recovery testing, and operational activities
Develop PowerShell and Python automation to reduce manual effort and improve platform consistency
Maintain source-controlled deployment artifacts and infrastructure code using Git-based workflows
Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, DevOps, Application, and Architecture teams to deliver automated platform solutions

Experience & Qualification Requirements :
Undergraduate Degree required
7+ years of infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, or platform engineering experience required
Experience building enterprise Azure environments from scratch
Experience working within DevOps organizations using infrastructure automation and CI/CD practices
