The Edmonton Police Service is seeking a Training Specialist I - Curriculum Designer. In this position, you will design instructional materials and conduct needs assessments while collaborating with subject matter experts. Your experience in adult education and curriculum development will directly support the training of EPS members and establish partnerships with external agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design classroom and eLearning courses based on adult education principles
• Conduct needs assessments and create project plans for courses
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts to develop curricula
• Maintain training partnerships with agencies and institutions
• Prepare instructional aids, including manuals and PowerPoint presentations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
• Minimum of two years in adult education and curriculum design
• Proficiency in Articulate Storyline or similar software
• Robust Excel and Adobe Suite skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
