The position leads the design and implementation of modern sourcing approaches that drive efficiency, fiscal sustainability, and service excellence across City operations. Working closely with diverse internal and external stakeholders, the role influences high-impact decisions, manages complex and high-profile procurement initiatives, and delivers measurable business improvements. In addition to leading strategic projects, performance measurement, and training initiatives, the position plays a trusted advisory role to senior leadership and contributes to maintaining integrity and accountability through confidential financial investigations. Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and recommend alternative procurement and strategic sourcing approaches, including high-risk and high-value contracts.Lead and oversee supply chain strategy, inventory management, KPIs, and ERP utilization.Negotiate and manage complex, high-profile agreements while ensuring compliance with bylaws, trade agreements, and policies.Conduct confidential investigations into financial misconduct and report findings to senior leadership.Lead procurement-related projects, business analysis,
