Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Abacus Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a solid interest in fostering children's mathematical skills through engaging and interactive teaching methods. This role offers an opportunity to inspire young learners, develop their cognitive abilities, and promote a love for math and learning in a supportive classroom setting.

Duties
Conduct engaging abacus and math lessons tailored to students’ age and skill levels
Develop customized lesson plans that incorporate abacus techniques, math concepts, and computer-based activities
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement
Create a positive, encouraging classroom atmosphere that motivates students to participate actively
Incorporate technology and computer skills into lessons to enhance learning experiences
Collaborate with parents and colleagues to support student development and address individual needs
Maintain organized records of student attendance, progress, and assessments




Adapt teaching strategies for students with special education needs or different learning styles

Requirements
Prior experience working with children in an educational or tutoring setting is preferred
Robust knowledge of math, abacus techniques, and basic computer skills
Classroom experience or background in teaching or tutoring math is highly desirable
Familiarity with special education practices or experience working with children with diverse learning needs is a plus
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage young learners effectively
Passion for teaching, patience, and creativity in lesson planning
Basic understanding of computer science concepts is advantageous but not mandatory
Relevant certifications or training in education or tutoring are preferred
