We are currently looking for a Vehicle Upfitting Technician to join our Ottawa team. In this hands-on role, you will assemble and install a variety of commercial vehicle equipment and accessories.

Responsibilities
Assemble and install commercial vehicle equipment, including shelving units, ladder racks, partitions, flooring, truck caps and other accessories.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Follow installation specifications, procedures and safety guidelines.
Assist with shipping and receiving when required.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Valid driver's licence with a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
Minimum 1 year of experience in automotive, mechanical, construction, installation or a related trade.
Technical or trade school education may be considered toward experience.




Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools.
Positive mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, organized and attentive to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
Ability to stand, kneel and crouch for extended periods, climb ladders and lift 50+ lbs.

What We Offer
Starting wage: $21.00–$24.00/hour, based on experience.
Monday to Friday schedule, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
