Raise is hiring a Senior Java Engineer (Kafka/API) in Toronto/Waterloo, ON with remote options. You will design, develop, and deploy Java REST web services and microservices using Docker and Kubernetes, and help shape API architecture for a complex portfolio.
You’ll mentor peers, explore Kafka-based event streams, implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Bitbucket, Maven, and Ansible, and support legacy APIs as needed. A CS degree and 5+ years of hands-on Java/API experience are expected.
