Lead community programs as a Supervisor of Recreation and Culture for the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. This permanent full time position focuses on employee development and program implementation.

In this leadership role located in Fort McMurray, you will supervise various recreation and cultural initiatives while fostering a safe and inclusive workplace. Your expertise in community services, project management, and partnership development will be key in guiding departmental goals and maintaining stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise administration of contracts for events and programs
• Mentor and coach team members in best practices
• Develop strategies for community recreation and culture initiatives




• Analyze program effectiveness and suggest improvements
• Liaise with internal and external partners on projects

Requirements:
• Degree in Recreation/Sports Administration or similar
• Five years in community services with program delivery
• Two years of supervisory experience
• Valid Class Five Alberta Operator’s License
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions
