Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct preventative maintenance on various heavy-duty vehicles
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and after-treatment systems
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems on fleet equipment
• Complete Commercial Vehicle Inspections (CVIP) accurately
• Mentor apprentices and support their technical development
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification required
• Valid Class 5 driver's licence with minimal demerits
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Strong communications skills and a passion for quality workmanship
• Must provide personal tools for repairs
