Responsibilities include building up-to-date web applications with React, developing scalable RESTful APIs, integrating AI and machine learning services,



diagnosing performance bottlenecks, applying secure coding practices, and mentoring engineers. The role requires 8+ years of software development experience, including full-stack development, 5+ years with Python frameworks like Flask or Django, and experience with PostgreSQL. Additional qualifications include expertise in frontend frameworks, microservice architecture, SaaS product development, cloud environments, containerization, CI/CD, and DevOps practices. Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. The position is based in Vancouver, Canada, with a base salary range of $140,000-$210,000 CAD annually. Workday offers a flexible hybrid work model, requiring at least 50% in-office time each quarter.
