Job Description and Responsibilities
Interpro Pipe & Steel is seeking a Safety Supervisor to join our team in Regina. This individual will work closely with management, frontline employees, and contractors to identify hazards, implement safety programs, and promote a culture of safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management and a proactive approach to risk prevention.

Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Monitor and enforce compliance with provincial and federal safety standards

Develop and implement safety training programs for all employees

Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions

Lead and participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard analyses

Prepare and maintain safety records, reports, and documentation

Provide guidance and support to frontline employees and management on safety issues and best practices

Collaborate with management to establish and update safety policies and procedures

Respond to safety-related emergencies

Organize and lead safety meetings and toolbox talks to promote safety awareness

Manage contractor qualifications and communications

Requirements

Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent

Occupational Health and Safety Practitioners Certificate, CRST, CRSP or a related designation (preferred)

At least 3-5 years of experience in a safety management or supervisory role, ideally in a manufacturing, industrial,



or construction setting

In-depth knowledge of Provincial regulations and safety management systems

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Ability to assess risks and implement effective control measures

Proficient with safety software, reporting tools and Microsoft applications

Ability to work rotating day/night shifts, including extended workdays, weekends, and statutory holidays
