This full-time role involves day-to-day management of various bodily injury and property matters. As part of The Co-operators team, you will provide legal advice, training, and support across lower to moderate complexity cases. Collaborating with senior counsel, you will also engage in higher complexity projects and litigation, ensuring that our clients receive the best legal representation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage claims litigation from referral through resolution
• Collaborate with Claims colleagues for optimal outcomes




• Provide assessments and legal research as needed
• Identify need for expert involvement and escalate issues
• Offer legal guidance on diverse business topics

Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years' insurance defense or personal injury experience
• Law Degree (LLB, JD or equivalent) required
• Member of the Ontario legal regulatory body
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Trial or arbitration experience is a plus
