Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Perform routine maintenance work. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Set up and dismantle equipment. Perform general labouring duties. Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products. Notify supervisor or repairers of mechanical malfunctions. Load, move, sort and pile materials and supplies. Assist skilled tradespersons. Assist equipment operators to secure attachments to equipment or truck. Follow emergency and safety procedures. Operate machinery. Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment.
