We embed inside client teams and run recruiting as an internal function, not an agency handoff. The difference is how we do the work. Sourcing via in house agents are encoded into skills. A recruiter here covers more ground than a recruiter working a keyword search and a spreadsheet.

The role

Full time, Contract, remote, with a path to FTE. You will own full-cycle recruiting across engineering, product, GTM and other roles that cutting edge AI startups & labs are currently hiring for.

What the work actually looks like

- Run intake with hiring managers and convert it into a search profile: target archetypes, feeder companies, disqualifiers, evaluation criteria, comp band
- Build candidate pipelines using AI sourcing tools rather than manual list building. You will write and iterate search queries.
- Source on evidence. We look for proof of work such as shipped repos, papers, launches, and public writing, not just title and tenure matches
- Score candidates against the role rubric and defend the ranking. Explain why someone scored where they did
- Write thoughtful, masterful outreach,



not a template.
- Report weekly on funnel movement, response rates, and where the process is leaking
- Embedded means you are accountable for the outcome, not just the activity

Must haves

- Full-cycle technical recruiting at early-stage startups, seed through Series C
- You have filled hard technical roles where the qualified pool was small and you had to go find it
- Comfortable in Ashby or a comparable modern ATS
- Working fluency with AI tooling. You use LLMs in your daily workflow and can iterate on a prompt or query when the first output is bad
- Written communication strong enough that your outreach and your candidate write-ups both hold up without editing

You will do well here if

- You would rather build a repeatable search than run the same one twice
- You are comfortable with tooling that changes month to month
- You can hold multiple client contexts at once without blurring them
- You are direct. Short updates, clear flags, no hedging

Not a fit if

- You need a fully defined process handed to you
- You measure your week in candidates submitted rather than candidates hired
- AI tools feel like a threat rather than leverage
