This position is on a Part-Time or Full-Time basis.
Job Description:
Architectural Design for renovations, custom homes, multi-unit and T.I projects
Oversee on site measuring and drawing of as built conditions.
Oversee + develop and draw working drawings for construction and permitting by utilizing AutoCAD, based on sketches and designs.
Oversee + generate 3D drawings
On site meetings with clients, professionals, and team members
Architectural Design for renovations, custom homes, multi unit and T.I projects
Civic liaison working with municipalities for permit application process
Requirements:
Architect AIBC or in process of securing A.I.B.C certification
Minimum 10 years experience in the B.C. single-family residential construction industry
Clear + current knowledge of the B.C. Building and Step Code & Municipal By Laws
Experience with both renovation and recent construction Part 9 single-family residential
Excellent communication skills and composure
Excellent written and verbal command of the English language
Experience and proficiency of AutoCAD and google SketchUp in addition to other similar software
Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel and other basic computer skills
Understanding of Worksafe BC residential construction Health & Safety Guidelines
In this position you will be held to a high standard and must be willing to learn and expand your knowledge in this field. And build a growing collaborative team
Built Green, Net Zero, Passive House and high-performance design experience is an asset.
