Position Details Currently seeking Journeyperson & Apprentice Carpenter's for work in Edmonton, AB and surrounding areas
What You Will Be Working On Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirement
Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and/or other materials
Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and or roof systems
Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware
Working with all types of Concrete Formwork
What We Are Looking For Valid Journeyperson/Apprentice certificate in the trade of Carpentry
CSTS 2020
WHMIS 2015
Fall Protection
MEWP
Formwork Experience
Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
