The City seeks a qualified Licensed Welder for its Fleet Services Division. This limited position will span approximately seven months, with multiple responsibilities including metal repair, custom fabrication for fire vehicles, and mechanical installations. Candidates should possess a robust welding skill set and be prepared to work under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and fabricate construction equipment metal parts
• Install motor mounts and complete bulkhead repairs
• Custom design aluminum components for fire vehicles




• Coordinate purchase of fabrication materials
• Maintain safety knowledge and compliance

Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary School and all-position welding certificate
• Experience in blacksmith techniques preferred
• Proven ability to interpret blueprints accurately
• Knowledge of various welding processes and equipment
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
