Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician
Where will you work: Onsite –Colonsay, Saskatchewan, Canada
(Colonsay is located approximately 42 miles from City of Saskatoon, with an average driving time of about 45 minutes)
Hourly: - $63.42, As per CBA
As a Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic at our Colonsay, SK location. The successful candidate will safely and efficiently perform the duties of a Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic in an assigned area on an assigned shift.
What you’ll do?
Reporting to the maintenance supervisor you will work as part of a team and be responsible for servicing the plant equipment and underground mining equipment.
Work safely in an industrial environment and able to follow the procedures and policies that are in place.
Inspect, diagnose, adjust, repair, fabricate, modify, and install plant equipment and or mining related equipment.
Plan, layout and use trade skills for assigned work.
Be able to work in the field, shop or underground.
Proficient in laser alignment.
Basic computer skills and ability to communicate and report any deficiencies or corrections noticed during routine maintenance or inspections either verbally or in writing.
Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training.
Play a critical role not only ensuring your own safety, but also the safety of others.
The position will require working on surface or underground as assigned.
You may also be required to work a shift rotation requiring weekend work.
What you’ll need:
A recognized, valid, Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic's Red Seal Certificate.
Full knowledge of the secure utilization and care of power and hand tools.
Full knowledge of cutting and welding practices.
The ability to discern the state of mechanical condition of machines and equipment and take appropriate action.

Able to use fine hand motor skills
Able to wear a respirator
Able to work rotating shifts and overtime as required
Must be able to work a 12-hour shift
Must be Authorized to work in Canada.
