Elevate mental health care as an Occupational Therapist in CAMH’s Psychosis Recovery and Treatment Unit 5 in Toronto. Focus on client assessments and rehabilitation for individuals with serious mental illness.
This full-time role requires a registered Occupational Therapist to join an interprofessional team. You will develop treatment plans, conduct functional assessments, and implement evidence-based interventions. Engage with diverse clients and contribute to program development while ensuring compliance with COTO standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate client needs
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Facilitate therapeutic and psycho-educational groups
• Provide individual counseling for rehabilitation goals
• Supervise Occupational Therapy students during their training
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Minimum three years of experience with mental illness
• Registration with COTO in good standing
• Solid communication and group facilitation skills
• Bilingualism is an asset
