Perform technical & mechanical tasks such as grinding, chemical cleaning, process treatments, etc.
Safely execute production and service provisions under controlled conditions
Organize work to maintain accountability and traceability
Control and monitoring of critical to quality items
Participation in 5s, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and other continuous improvement initiatives
Work independently and as part of a team in a production environment
Maintain proper documentation and traceability for work performed
Carry out assigned production tasks safely and in accordance with company procedures
Read and interpret blueprints and follow documented work instructions
Additional Job Duties:
Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S practices
Perform other related duties as assigned
Core Competencies:
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and utilize inspection equipment (micrometers, verniers, etc.)
Ability to work with co-workers and external contacts in a positive and professional manner
Strong mathematical, verbal and written communications skills
Robust attention to detail
Practical problem-solving ability
Excellent time keeping/attendance habits. Motivated with a "can-do" attitude
Good hand-eye coordination
Natural focus on health and safety, continuous improvement and producing a high quality product in the most efficient manner possible




EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND REQUIRED Minimum high school completion
Technical Diploma
WORK EXPERINCE REQUIRED 1-2 yrs experience assembling small components/hardware installation in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Demands:
Repetitive tasks such as assembly operations
Position involves sitting for long periods of time
Ability to lift and handle items weighing between 10-30 lbs
Periods of sitting or standing during work activities
Shop floor environment
Potential exposure to chemicals and cleaning agents
Slip or trip hazards in manufacturing areas
Repetitive motion

Hourly wage: $22.55 to $25.11
**Must be legally allowed to work in Canada
**Must pass the Controlled Goods Program security background screening
