Become an integral part of Ocean Capital Holdings as an Investment Analyst in Saint John, NB or Halifax, NS. This role focuses on comprehensive investment analysis supporting various asset classes and collaboration with investment teams.

This position reports directly to the Director of Investments and requires expertise in analyzing both internally and externally managed portfolios. You will prepare regular investment reports, conduct research on market trends, and enhance investment-related processes. The ideal candidate possesses a finance degree and at least three years of experience in financial markets.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze portfolios, both internally and externally managed
• Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly investment reports




• Conduct research projects to identify investment themes
• Utilize Bloomberg terminal for data analysis
• Maintain relationships with investment managers and advisors

Requirements:
• Undergraduate/graduate degree in finance or related field
• 3+ years in investment or financial markets
• Interest in enrolling in the CFA program
• Experience with Bloomberg terminals is a plus
• Proficient in programming languages like Python or R
