OVERVIEW
As a Server Assistant, you are the engine behind exceptional service. Through speed, awareness, and attention to detail, you create the conditions that allow the entire dining room to perform at its best. You anticipate needs before they arise, support your teammates without hesitation, and ensure every guest experiences the care and precision that define Published on Main.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
GUEST EXPERIENCE & HOSPITALITY
- Support every guest interaction with attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
- Anticipate guest and team needs before they become requests.
- Create moments of care through awareness, timing, and thoughtful execution.
- Contribute to an environment where guests feel welcomed and cared for throughout their visit.
EXECUTION & AWARENESS
- Deliver food accurately, confidently, and with a strong understanding of every dish.
- Develop a growing knowledge of the food, beverage, and dining experience to support guest interactions.
- Read the dining room continuously and respond proactively to changing service needs.
- Support servers and Service Leads through communication, urgency, and teamwork.
SERVICE & OPERATIONS
- Maintain dining room readiness through clearing, resetting, stocking, polishing, and organization.
- Complete opening, closing, and side duties with consistency and care.
- Ensure service stations, equipment, and guest-facing areas remain clean, organized, and service-ready.
- Support the pace and flow of service through strong situational awareness and adaptability.

- Weekend and evening availability is a must.
- Serving It Right certification is a must.
- Ability to safely lift 25lbs.
