SUMU is looking for energetic, reliable, and hospitality-driven Servers and Server Assistants to join our Front of House team in Downtown Vancouver.

SERVER

Our Servers are responsible for providing attentive, knowledgeable, and professional service while confidently managing their assigned sections.

Responsibilities

- Provide warm, attentive, and qualified table service
- Welcome guests and guide them through SUMU’s menu and dining concept
- Explain dishes, ingredients, and menu options and make appropriate recommendations
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Manage multiple tables during high-volume service
- Maintain strong menu and beverage knowledge
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and FOH teams




- Handle guest questions and concerns professionally
- Process bills and payments accurately
- Complete opening, closing, and assigned side duties
- Maintain SUMU’s hospitality and service standards

SERVER ASSISTANT

Our Server Assistants play an important role in supporting Servers, maintaining smooth floor operations, and ensuring guests receive efficient and attentive service.

This position includes elements of server support, food running, table maintenance, and floor operations.

Pay: From $18.25 per hour
