Bel-Air Toyota is looking for a PART-TIME RECEPTIONIST

Hours: Monday to Friday from 3pm to 6pm

Position overview:

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Part-Time Service Receptionist to be the first point of contact for customers in our service department. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere while supporting the service team with administrative and customer service tasks. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced workplace.

Key responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers arriving for service appointments, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate advisor or staff member.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the correct department or team member in a courteous and professional manner.
- Process debit, credit, and cash payments accurately and efficiently.
- Count and balance your cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Prepare personalized key tags for the following day’s service appointments
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and handling service-related inquiries.
- Keep the reception and waiting areas clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Monitor customer needs in the waiting area (e.g., keeping the coffee station tidy and stocked, ensuring the space remains welcoming).
- Ensure muffins are wrapped for the following morning.




- Provide light clerical support to service staff as needed, including handling paperwork and assisting with special projects.

Requirements:

- Bilingual in French and English is required.
- Prior experience in a receptionist or administrative support role is preferred.
- Customer service experience is considered an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Maintains a professional appearance and conducts themselves with courtesy and professionalism.
- Comfortable with roles that require extended periods of sitting.
