Sheet Metal Workers (Apprentice and Journeyman) – Brighter Staffing Agency is seeking experienced Sheet Metal Workers, both Apprentices and Journeymen, to join our team in Langley, BC. Location: Langley, BC, Canada. Permanent position.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical drawings
- Measure and mark sheet metal according to specifications
- Cut, shape, and bend metal sheets using hand and power tools
- Assemble and install sheet metal products and equipment, including ductwork, roofing, siding, and ventilation systems
- Seal joints and seams using solder, welding, and other methods
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment for defects and malfunctions
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors as needed
- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices as required

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent




- Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience for Journeymen
- Previous experience in sheet metal work, preferably in the construction industry
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Knowledge of different types of sheet metal and their uses
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team workplace
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
