The Site Superintendent is responsible for supervising and coordinating all field operations required to construct the project which includes all on‑site construction activities.

Work with the project manager to coordinate all site activities in order to meet schedule in accordance with Drawings, Specifications and Trade Contracts;

Ensure project materials and workmanship meet project quality standards and design requirements;

Provides weekly updates and meetings on project status;

Work with contracting companies in order to get supplies, equipment and additional labour to meet construction schedule

Must have current knowledge of Saskatchewan Occupational Health & Safety regulations and legislations;





Create site specific plans and procedures (as required) and ensure the implementation of LVS's Safety Program to create a protected work environment throughout the jobsite;

Inspects the work site continuously to ensure all LVS staff and trades partners abide by Ministry of Labour regulations and LVSs Health & Safety Policies;

Must be able to read and thoroughly understand Architectural, Structural, Electrical and Mechanical drawings,

Must be able to review and understand all reports and documents including , Site Services, Structural, Architectural, M & E,

Education & Skills:

A High School Diploma is required. Post-secondary education in Construction Management, and/or journey person accreditation in related trades is preferred.

Minimum three years of construction supervision experience required

This is an on site position, ability to perform physical labour is a requirement.

Valid drivers license is required.
